What we collect, and what happens to it.

The short version

• We collect what we need to make your portrait: your name, email, photo, and (if you order) shipping and payment details.
• Your photo is used to prepare your preview and, if you order, your print — nothing else, unless you separately say yes to marketing use.
• We delete photos and previews on a set schedule, and you can ask us to delete them sooner.
• We never sell your information, and we don't post your pet's photo publicly without separate, optional permission.

Information we collect

Only what the service actually needs:

• Contact details — your name and email address, so we can send your preview and follow up about your order.
• Your pet's photo — the image you submit for the portrait.
• Order and transaction records — if you place an order: shipping address, order contents and total, and payment status. Full card numbers never touch our systems; checkout is handled by our payment processor. We never ask you to email card information.
• Your messages — emails and form notes you send us, including revision requests and approvals.
• Consent records — a note that you agreed to this notice when submitting a photo, and whether you separately opted into marketing.
• Site usage — [VERIFY: name actual analytics tool(s), if any, and describe purpose]. Non-essential advertising trackers are not loaded before required consent.

How your photo is used and shared

Your photo is used to create your watermarked preview and, if you order and approve, your finished print. The services that can access or process it are:

We don't promise a vendor will never use content for their own model training unless their current terms and our account settings confirm it; we check this when choosing providers and will say so here where it's confirmed.

Marketing use is always separate and optional. We will not post an identifiable customer photo or artwork in advertising, social posts, portfolios, or public examples without your separate, specific permission. Permission is optional and is never a condition of service.

Access, retention, and deletion

Access is limited to the people and vendors needed to make and support your order. Photos and previews are stored with access controls and are shared as expiring, access-controlled links — not public URLs.

• Photos from previews that don't become orders — deleted by [VERIFY: date schedule], along with the preview itself.
• Order production files — retained until [VERIFY: schedule] after your order ships, then deleted.
• Transaction records — kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
• Backups — where a provider keeps backups we can't individually delete, copies persist until the provider's backup cycle expires. We describe this accurately rather than promising instant erasure.

Security

We use access-restricted accounts with strong, unique credentials and multifactor authentication, secure connections for the site, and least-privilege access for any staff or vendors. We keep software updated and follow the provider security practices described above. No online service is perfectly secure, and we won't claim to be.

Cookies
